  Discoveries today included a Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire at Read's Island, a Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire at Godmanchester, and in Norfolk now six White-rumped Sandpipers together at Snettisham alongside a Semipalmated Sandpiper.

Rarities elsewhere comprised Cliff Swallow and Scopoli's Shearwater on the Isles of Scilly, Red-necked Stint still in County Cork, Stejneger's Scoter and Baird's Sandpiper both still in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in West Sussex, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Alpine Swift on the Western Isles, and Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire.

Late news from yesterday concerned a Fea's Petrel species passing Portcaloy.
