| Lingering rarities included the Red-necked Stint in County Cork, Cliff Swallow and Spotted Sandpiper on Scilly, Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire, four White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Alpine Swift in Western Isles, Semipalmated Sandpiper in West Sussex, American Golden Plover in Orkney, Baird's Sandpiper and Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, and Caspian Tern in South Yorkshire. | ||
