  New discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Steinis, Western Isles, Spotted Redshank at Queen Mother Reservoir, Berks, Red-footed Falcon at Denver in Norfolk, and another Red-footed Falcon at Worth in Kent.

Lingering rarities included the Green Warbler in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black Kite in Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Cumbria and two in Kent, Savi's Warblers in Leicestershire and East Yorkshire, Red-rumped Swallow in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Scaup in West Yorkshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Lesser Yellowlegs and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire and Rustic Bunting in Northumberland.
