| New discoveries today included a Western Subalpine Warbler at North Foreland, Kent, Rustic Buntings at Newcastle, Northumberland and Sandness, Shetland, a Red-rumped Swallow at Toab, Shetland and Red-footed Falcons at Sandwich (two) and Langdon Cliffs, both Kent and at Raby, Cumbria.
Lingering rarities included the Green Warbler and Thrush Nightingale in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler and Red-footed Falcon in Cambridgeshire, Elegant Tern in County Mayo, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black Kite in Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs and Black-winged Stilt in Lincolnshire and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |
