  Discoveries today included a Slate-coloured Junco in Cleveland at Hartlepool, a Blue-winged Teal on the Shetland Isles at Scatness, Mainland, Pallid Harrier in Highland at Durness, Black Kite on the Isles of Scilly on St Mary's, Red-rumped Swallow in Kent at Worth Marsh, and a Lesser Scaup in County Donegal at Blanket Nook.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Marsh Sandpiper in Hampshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Savi's Warbler in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Black-winged Stilt together in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, White-billed Diver in Moray, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth (2).
