Friday 3rd November 2023  
  A Brunnich's Guillemot was found at St Abb's Head in Borders mid afternoon. In Norfolk, Pallid Harriers were at Waxham and Warham and a Pallid Swift was at Blakeney, with another of the latter at Noup Head, Orkney. An Arctic Redpoll was at Knockintorran, Western Isles and a Dusky Warbler was on Bryher, Scilly.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Solitary Sandpiper in Kent, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, Baird's Sandpiper in County Cork, Grey-cheeked Thrush in Scilly, Dusky Warbler in Yorkshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Aberdeenshire, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, two Lesser Scaup in Cornwall and Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland.
