  New discoveries in Norfolk today included a Red-breasted Goose at Warham Greens and a Pallid Swift at Holkham, whilst a Dusky Warbler was found at Skirza, Highland.

Lingering rarities still present included the Grey-cheeked Thrush in Scilly, Red-throated Pipit and Pallid Swift in Orkney, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaup in County Donegal, Red-breasted Geese in Northumberland and Argyll and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Bluethroat, a Richard's Pipit, two Great Grey Shrikes, two Lapland Buntings, six Yellow-browed Warblers, eight Shorelarks, a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Purple Heron, six Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, four Tundra Bean Geese, 16 Taiga Bean Geese, four Little Auks, two American Golden Plovers, five Grey Phalaropes, a Glaucous Gull, up to ten Sabine's Gulls, over 100 Leach's Petrels, two Long-tailed Skuas, eight Pomarine Skuas, four Cory's Shearwaters, 14 Balearic Shearwaters and at least 466 Great Shearwaters.
