New discoveries today consisted of both a White-rumped Sandpiper and a Caspian Tern in County Wexford at Tacumshin

Rarities elsewhere included the Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 11 Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire (5), and Kent (6), Least Tern in County Dublin, three Caspian Tern in County Cork, County Wexford and Norfolk respectively, Pacific Golden Plover in Orkney, King Eider in Lothian, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher also in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Pectoral Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire, six Temminck's Stint in Kent, American Golden Plover in Pembrokeshire, Rosefinch in East Yorkshire, Surf Scoter in Angus, and a Serin in Dorset.
