| Lingering rarities seen today included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Caspian Terns in Norfolk and County Cork, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal, Pacific Golden Plover in Orkney, ten Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher and three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, King Eider in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent and a Wilson's Petrel was seen from the Scilly pelagic.
Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, three Pectoral Sandpipers, three Glossy Ibises, four Great Shearwaters, nine Balearic Shearwaters, 13 Cory's Shearwaters, up to eight Pomarine Skuas, two Sabine's Gulls and a Glaucous Gull. |
