New discoveries today included a Wilson's Petrel in County Cork off Cape Clear, and a Bee Eater in Suffolk near Higham.

Rarities elsewhere included the Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 21 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10), South Yorkshire (5), and Kent (6), Forster's Tern in Dorset, two Caspian Tern in County Cork and Norfolk respectively, and Long-billed Dowitcher aslo in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Tundra Bean Goose, six Glossy Ibises, three Pectoral Sandpipers, 11 Great Shearwaters, nine Balearic Shearwaters, two Glaucous Gulls, Long-tailed Skua, Marsh Warbler, eight Roseate Terns, and 18 Cory's Shearwaters.
