The highlight today was once again the Black-winged Kite which remained in Essex at St Osyth.

Other discoveries today included the identification confirmation of a Black-headed Wagtail in County Derry at Myroe Levels, and a Baltic Gull in Cheshire at Widnes.

Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Black-winged Pratincole in County Donegal 22 Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire (10), South Yorkshire (6), and Kent (6), Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, three Bee-eaters in Norfolk, two Caspian Tern in County Cork and Norfolk respectively, and Long-billed Dowitcher aslo in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Serin, three Glossy Ibises, two Pectoral Sandpipers, seven Great Shearwaters, 21 Balearic Shearwaters, Glaucous Gull, Ring-necked Duck, seven Night Herons, five Roseate Terns, and 156 Cory's Shearwaters.
