Discoveries today included three Wilson's Petrels one in Cornwall (Porthgwarra), and two in County Cork (Seven Heads), Pratincole sp in County Donegal at Blanket Nook, aswell as this, a late report of a Turkestan Shrike in Flintshire near Gronant, two possible Baltic Gulls in Northumberland at Longhoughton Steel ,and a Pelican sp of unknown origin in North Yorkshire flew past Long Nab.

Rarities elsewhere included the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Norfolk, Caspian Tern in County Dublin, two or more Black-winged Stilts in Lincolnshire and Gloustershire, Least Tern in County Dublin, three Bee-Eaters in Norfolk, and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Roseate Tern, 14 Roseate Terns, 376 Balearic Shearwaters, two Pectoral Sandpipers, Purple Heron, Honey Buzzard, Ring-necked Duck, Temminck's Stint, Rose-coloured Starling, and 11 Cory's Shearwaters.
