Rarities today comprised Long-billed Dowitcher, Lesser Scaup, and two Caspian Terns all still in Norfolk, King Eider still in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Wilson's Petrel in County Kerry, Bee-eaters in both County Durham and Norfolk (3), and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (10), South Yorkshire (6).

Scarcities included Purple Heron (Northumberland), Pectoral Sandpiper (Norfolk), Glossy Ibis (Kent), Ring-necked Ducks (Glamorgan and Suffolk), and a total of five Cory's Shearwaters.

Significant late news concerned a Spotted Sandpiper on Saturday in Borders at Birgham Dub.
