Discoveries today included three Caspian Terns in Norfolk at Potter Heigham, and Buckenham Marshes, aswell as one in Lincolnshire at Saltfleetby, Black-browed Albatross in Denbighshire at sea, and an Alpine Swift in Cumbria at Port Carlisle.

Rarities elsewhere included the American Black Tern in Northumberland, Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire (1), Linolnshire (3+), and South Yorkshire (6), Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Roller on the Isle of Wight, Caspian Tern in County Dublin, three Bee-Eaters in Norfolk, and Lesser Scaup in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Rosefinch, Glaucous Gull, Golden Oriole, three Pectoral Sandpipers, Roseate Tern, American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, and a Night Heron
