Discoveries today included a Red-footed Falcon in Suffolk at Boyton Marshes and a Black Kite at Elvington, North Yorkshire.

Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warbler and Great Reed Warbler together in Cleveland, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, both Lesser Scaup and White-billed Diver in Highland, Blyth's Reed Warbler on the Shetland Isles, King Eider in Aberdeenshire, three Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, and Black-winged Stilts in Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire (4), Norfolk (2), and South Yorkshire (2).

Scarcities included Woodchat Shrike (Northumberland), White-spotted Bluethroat (Gloucestershire), American Golden Plover (Norfolk), Common Rosefinch (Cumbria), Golden Oriole (Shetland), Ring-necked Duck (Clyde), two Glossy Ibises, three Night Herons, and four Marsh Warblers.
