  New discoveries today included a Savi's Warbler at Saltholme, Cleveland and a Bee-eater over Eltham, London.

Lingering rarities included the Little Crake in Cambridgeshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cleveland, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Shetland, five Bee-eaters in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford and Black-winged Stilts in Yorkshire (two), Lincolnshire (six), Norfolk (two) and Gloucestershire.

Scarcity highlights included a White-spotted Bluethroat, an Icterine Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Red-backed Shrikes, three Common Rosefinches, six Marsh Warblers, an American Golden Plover, a White-winged Black Tern, a Purple Heron, a Night Heron, two Honey Buzzards, a Green-winged Teal and an Iceland Gull.
