  Lingering rarities seen today included the Laughing Gull in Devon, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Forster's Tern in County Galway, two Penduline Tits in County Cork, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, Hume's Warbler and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk and Kentish Plover in Somerset.

Scarcity highlights included two Yellow-browed Warblers, 14 Shorelarks, 42 Waxwings, a Surf Scoter, two American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teal, ten Ring-necked Ducks, two Snow Geese, six Tundra Bean Geese, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant, two Grey Phalaropes, a Little Auk, a Pomarine Skua, a Sabine's Gull, three Ring-billed Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls, six Iceland Gulls and a Kumlien's Gull.
