Discoveries today included a Black-throated Thrush in Nottinghamshire at Newark-on-Trent, an Arctic Redpoll in County Mayo at Tarmon, and a Long-billed Dowitcher in Cheshire at Burton Mere; the latter perhaps the individual present there on 21st-29th October 2022.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the White-winged Scoter still in County Mayo, Isabelline Wheatear and Laughing Gull both still in Devon, Pallid Harrier, Hume's Warbler, and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, two Penduline Tits together in County Cork, Arctic Redpoll in County Antrim, King Eider in Cleveland, and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Kent), Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall), Sabine's Gull (Hampshire), American Wigeon (Orkney Isles), Rough-legged Buzzard (Shetland Isles), Snow Goose (County Tipperary), Yellow-browed Warbler (Oxfordshire), two Black Brants, four Green-winged Teals, nine each of both Ring-necked Duck and Glossy Ibis, 13 Shorelarks, and a total of 30 Waxwings.
