| A White-billed Diver was discovered in Bluemull Sound, Shetland today.
Lingering rarities still present included the White-throated Sparrow in Cheshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Hume's Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Red-breasted Goose in Cumbria, King Eiders in Cleveland and Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Lesser Scaups in Fife and County Armagh and Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim. Scarcity highlights included two Yellow-browed Warblers, 14 Waxwings, 15 Shorelarks, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, three Ring-necked Ducks, two Snow Geese, a Tundra Bean Goose, 70 Taiga Bean Geese, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant, two Glossy Ibises, two Little Auks, a Pomarine Skua, five Glaucous Gulls and six Iceland Gulls. |
