  An American Herring Gull was present at Drift Reservoir in Cornwall briefly, and a White-billed Diver flew past Holy Island, Northumberland.

Lingering rarities still present included the Hooded Merganser in County Mayo, Lesser Scaup in County Armagh, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Red-breasted Goose in Cumbria, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Hume's Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.

Scarcity highlights included a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, five Yellow-browed Warblers, 11 Shorelarks, 35 Waxwings, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, 12 Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, two Snow Geese, two Black Brants, five Tundra Bean Geese, 70 Taiga Bean Geese, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant, ten Glossy Ibises, two Grey Phalaropes, a Pomarine Skua, two Little Auks, three Ring-billed Gulls, seven Glaucous Gulls and 11 Iceland Gulls.
