New discoveries today included a Black Kite at Almer, Devon and a Ferruginous Duck near Penkridge, Staffordshire.

Rarities today comprised the Isabelline Wheatear in Devon, Pallid Harrier, Long-billed Dowitcher, and Hume's Warbler all in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, and Dusky Warbler in Wiltshire.

Scarcities included three Ring-billed Gulls, Snow Goose, 71 Taiga Bean Geese, five Tundra Bean Geese, Todd's Canada Goose, Yellow-browed Warbler, two Lapland Buntings, six Glossy Ibises, Surf Scoter, Grey Phalarope, Glaucous Gull, two Ring-necked Ducks, Great Grey Shrike, four Iceland Gulls, American Wigeon, 10 Waxwings, and a total of 14 Shorelarks.
