Rarities today comprised the Isabelline Wheatear still in Devon, Pallid Harrier and Long-billed Dowitcher both still in Norfolk, King Eider in Cleveland, Lesser Scaup in Fife, and a Richardson's Cackling Goose new in Northumberland at Fenham-le-Moor. Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (County Louth), Snow Goose (Forth), Black Brant (Suffolk), two Lapland Buntings, three Glossy Ibises, four Ring-necked Ducks, five Waxwings, and a total of 16 Shorelarks. |
