  New discoveries today included Eastern Stonechats at Dungeness, Kent and Blakeney, Norfolk, a Dusky Warbler at Nanjizal, Cornwall and two Red-rumped Swallows at Foreness Point, Kent.

Lingering rarities still present included the Pied Wheatear in Northumberland, Isabelline Wheatears in Gwynedd and County Cork, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit and Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll in Shetland, Wilson's Snipe in Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, White-wumped Sandpipers in Western Isles and County Donegal, White-winged Scoter in Lothian and White-billed Diver in Orkney.

Scarcity highlights included a Barred Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Hoopoe, a Common Rosefinch, four Great Grey Shrikes, six Lapland Buntings, 12 Shorelarks, 96 Waxwings, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, 12 Glossy Ibises, a Red-necked Phalarope, three Grey Phalaropes, 70 Little Auks, two Sabine's Gulls, an Iceland Gull, two Glaucous Gulls, six Pomarine Skuas, a Balearic Shearwater, a Cory's Shearwater and 21 Great Shearwaters.
