On the Isles of Scilly a Red-eyed Vireo was new-in on St Mary's along with Olive-backed Pipit, Little Bunting, and Common Rosefinch, with Swainson's Thrush on Tresco, Olive-backed Pipit on St Agnes, Wryneck on St Martin's, and at sea 143 Cory's Shearwaters and 40 Great Shearwaters.

On the Shetland Isles on Mainland Eastern Stonechat species, Dusky Warbler, King Eider, Ring-necked Duck, Barred Warbler, and probable Homeyer's Great Grey Shrike, a Bluethroat on Unst, and around island totals of three each of both Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll and Glossy Ibis.

Discoveries elsewhere today comprised Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls new on the Orkney Isles on Papa Westray (2), and on Barra, Western Isles, and a Richardson's Cackling Goose in Perth and Kinross at Loch Leven, whilst lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Alder Flycatcher in County Galway, Great Snipe on the Orkney Isles, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Cork, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cleveland and Cornwall (2).
