Outstanding news today from Kent where a Yellow-browed Bunting was trapped and ringed at Sandwich Bay, although it could not be found after it was released. Discoveries elsewhere included a Great Snipe on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, and a Wilson's Petrel passing Lewis, Western Isles.

On the Shetland Isles the White's Thrush remained on Mainland alongside Myrtle Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher, and probable Homeyer's Great Grey Shrike, on Unst Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll and Barred Warbler, and on Fair Isle a Bluethroat. On the Isles of Scilly the Swainson's Thrush was still on Tresco, American Buff-bellied Pipit, Olive-backed Pipit, Little Bunting, and Cory's Shearwater all on St Mary's, Short-toed Lark on St Agnes, Lapland Bunting on St Martin's, three Wrynecks, and a total of four Common Rosefinches.

Lingering rarities elsewhere comprised the probable Alder Flycatcher still in County Galway, both Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler and Blyth's Reed Warbler on the Western Isles, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Pallid Harrier in Dumfries and Galloway, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in County Kerry, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cleveland and Cornwall (2).
