  Rarities today comprised the Turkestan Shrike and Black-browed Albatross both still together in East Yorkshire, Stilt Sandpiper still in Lincolnshire, Least Tern in County Dublin, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Caspian Terns in both Cleveland (2) and Gloucestershire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, six Bee-eaters together in Norfolk, the family of six Black-winged Stilts in South Yorkshire, and a White-rumped Sandpiper new on the Shetland Isles at Pool of Virkie, Mainland.

Scarcities included Night Heron (Norfolk), Rose-coloured Starling (Western Isles), Golden Oriole (Suffolk), Long-tailed Skua (Fife), two Pectoral Sandpipers, and a total of 15 Glossy Ibises.
