Monday 4th April 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on Fair Isle, Shetland Isles.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Belted Kingfisher still in Lancashire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, both Black-browed Albatross and Baikal Teal East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose and Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in West Sussex, and Lesser Scaups in County Cork, Clyde (2), and Essex.

Scarcities included Pectoral Sandpiper (County Cork), Hoopoe (Devon), Great Grey Shrike (Norfolk), Yellow-browed Warbler (Dorset), two each of Spotted Crake and Little Auk, four Snow Geese, six Green-winged Teals, nine Ring-necked Ducks, and 16 Glossy Ibises.
