Saturday 19th February 2022  
  A first-winter Ross's Gull was discovered at Mutton Island, County Galway this afternoon, a third Lesser Scaup joined the lingering two at West Loch Ollay, Western Isles and a White-billed Diver was seen off Kinnaird Head, Aberdeenshire.

Lingering rarities still present included the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, American Coot in County Wexford, American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex (with another of the latter in Kent), Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, single Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, three King Eiders and a White-billed Diver in Shetland, Black Duck in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in Clyde (three), Ayrshire and a further individual in Western Isles, Red-breasted Geese in Argyll, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Essex, Cackling Geese in Western Isles (two), Argyll and County Sligo, Semipalmated Plover in County Cork, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Pacific Diver and Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo.

Scarcity highlights included a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, at least two Lapland Buntings, four Shorelarks, four Waxwings, 25 Glossy Ibises, two Surf Scoters, two American Wigeon, six Green-winged Teals, 16 Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, three Snow Geese, 13 Tundra Bean Geese, a Long-tailed Skua, six Pomarine Skuas, two Kumlien's Gulls, four Ring-billed Gulls, nine Glaucous Gulls and 24 Iceland Gulls.
