  Rarities today comprised both American Robin and Hume's Warbler still in East Sussex, Belted Kingfisher and Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, American Coots in both County Kerry and County Wexford, Ross's Gull in Aberdeenshire, Pacific Diver and Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan, Baikal Teals in both East Yorkshire and Somerset, Ross's Goose in Clyde, Black Duck and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, Hume's Warbler and Dusky Warbler in Kent, Red-breasted Geese in Essex, Lincolnshire, and Norfolk, Kentish Plover and three Penduline Tits in Somerset, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, White-billed Divers in both Aberdeenshire and Northumberland, and Lesser Scaups in County Armagh, Ayrshire, Clyde (3), and Dorset.

Scarcities included Short-toed Lark (Norfolk), Little Bunting (East Sussex), American Wigeon (Nottinghamshire), Snow Goose (County Sligo), Great Grey Shrike (Derbyshire), two each of Yellow-browed Warbler and Kumlien's Gull, three Green-winged Teals, four Waxwings, seven Ring-billed Gulls, 13 Shorelarks, 19 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 33 Glossy Ibises.
