An adult Bonaparte's Gull was present in Lytchett Bay, Dorset for its second day.
Lingering rarities included the American Robin in Sussex (present for at least its 3rd week), Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, American Coot in County Wexford, Ross's Gull in Aberdeenshire, single Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Lesser Scaups in Clyde (three), Argyll (two) and Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, single Red-breasted Geese in Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Essex, two Cackling Geese in Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Hume's Warbler in Sussex, Dusky Warbler in Kent and three Penduline Tits in Somerset. Scarcity highlights included a Richard's Pipit, a Great Grey Shrike, 14 Shorelarks, 50 Lapland Buntings, 43 Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, a Surf Scoter, four Green-winged Teal, 28 Ring-necked Ducks, two Black Brants, three Snow Geese, 16 Tundra Bean Geese, a Kumlien's Gull, four Ring-billed Gulls, eight Glaucous Gulls and 15 Iceland Gulls. |
