In Cornwall, a Ross's Gull was at Trevone and a Pacific Golden Plover was at Porthgwarra.
Lingering rarities included the American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex, another Ross's Gull again in Aberdeenshire, single American Coots in County Kerry and County Wexford, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, three Penduline Tits in Somerset, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, White-billed Divers in Northumberland and Orkney, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaups in Argyll (three), Clyde (three), Ayrshire, Dorset and Scilly, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Norfolk, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk. Scarcity highlights included a Serin, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Great Grey Shrike, four Waxwings, 14 Shorelarks, 41 Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, three Surf Scoters, 17 Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, a Black Brant, nine Tundra Bean Geese, a Little Auk, a Kumlien's Gull, three Ring-billed Gulls, nine Glaucous Gulls and 17 Iceland Gulls. |
