Rarities included White-tailed Lapwing still in Lincolnshire, both Semipalmated Plover and Pacific Diver together in County Cork,
American Coot in County Kerry, Baikal Teal and three Penduline Tits in Somerset,
Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham,
Hume's Warbler in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Dusky Warblers in both Cornwall and Kent,
White-billed Diver on the Shetland Isles, and Lesser Scaups in Ayrshire, Isles of Scilly, and the Western Isles. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Oxfordshire), Hoopoe (Warwickshire), Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), Richard's Pipit and Great Grey Shrike (North Yorkshire), two each of American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Shorelark, three of Surf Scoter and Black Brant, four Ring-billed Gulls, 14 Ring-necked Ducks, 15 Lapland Buntings, and a total of 40 Glossy Ibises. |
