| Lingering rarities seen today included the Blue Rock Thrush in
Gloucestershire, Stejneger's Stonechat in Kent, Snowy Owl in
Orkney, Pacific Diver, Eastern Black Redstart and Lesser Scaup
in Cornwall, another Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert
Wheatear in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, King Eider in
County Sligo and two Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk
Scarcity highlights included a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Great Grey Shrike, a Surf Scoter, two Glossy Ibises, four Ring-billed Gulls and five Yellow-browed Warblers. |
