  Lingering rarities seen again today included Eastern Black Redstarts in Lothian and Cleveland, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Dusky Warbler in Worcestershire, Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire and Lesser Scaup in County Galway.

Scarcity highlights included two Richard's Pipits in Dorset, Rose-coloured Starling in Sussex, Great Grey Shrikes in Suffolk and Sussex, two Little Auks in Orkney, Todd's Canada Goose and Iceland Gull in Norfolk, Surf Scoter in Devon, American Wigeons in Cornwall and Dumfries and Galloway, Ring-necked Ducks in Kent, Perth and Kinross and Cambridgeshire, Glaucous Gulls in Merseyside and the Western Isles and 28 Cattle Egrets in nine counties.
