  New rarities discovered today were a Broad-billed Sandpiper in Flintshire at Gronant, and a Spotted Sandpiper in London at Brent Reservoir.

Lingering rarities confimrmed as still present comprised a Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, both Black-headed Bunting and King Eider in Highland, Gull-billed Tern in County Wexford, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Iberian Chiffchaff on the Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, and Ferruginous Duck in County Durham.

Scarcities included Purple Heron (Anglesey and Hertfordshire), Woodchat Shrike (Dorset), Icterine Warbler (Highland), Serin and Pectoral Sandpiper (Norfolk), Marsh Warbler and Red-backed Shrike (Suffolk), Hoopoe (South Yorkshire), Red-necked Phalarope (Northumberland), White Stork (Somerset), and both American Golden Plover and Cattle Egret (County Wexford).
