| Lingering rarities still present today included the Glaucous-winged Gull
in County Cork, Black Scoter in County Kerry, Forster's Tern in
County Galway, Gyr and White-billed Diver in the Western Isles,
two Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire and Cleveland, single
Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire and Northumberland,
Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, King Eider in County Wexford, single
Lesser Scaups in County Sligo and Glamorgan and Richardson's Cackling
Goose also in County Sligo.
Scarcity highlights were a Pallas's Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Hoopoe and two Richard's Pipits. |
