  New discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull at Kildavin, County Carlow, a Lesser Scaup at Lough Skean, County Sligo and a White-billed Diver off Burghead, Moray.

Lingering rarities included the Pacific Diver and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Black Scoter in County Kerry, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Gyr in the Western Isles, two Penduline Tits in both Gloucestershire and Cleveland, single Long-billed Dowitchers in Leicestershire and Northumberland, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan and White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire.
