  A Lesser Scaup was discovered in Belfast, County Antrim, and the identity of the Long-billed Dowitcher at Wanlip, Leicestershire was confirmed, having been present for at least two days.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel in Cornwall, two Penduline Tits in both Gloucestershire and Cleveland, Gyr in the Western Isles, Pallid Harrier and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk (with others of the latter still in Buckinghamshire and Hampshire), Coues's Arctic Redpoll and Long-billed Dowitcher in Northumberland, White-billed Diver in Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in County Cork, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo and another Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan.
