Tuesday 3rd February 2015
Highlight of the day was the discovery of a Laughing Gull at New Brighton (Wirral), whilst in Shropshire a probable second-winter Thayer's Gull was in Telford and a Bonaparte's Gull was in Carmarthenshire. Elsewhere lingering rarities included Harlequin Duck (Aberdeenshire), Pacific Diver (Cornwall), Lesser Scaup (Cornwall and Glamorgan), Bonaparte's Gull (Devon) and Ferruginous Duck (Gloucestershire).

The best of the rest included Rose-coloured Starling (Northumberland), Night Heron (Co Cork), two Cattle Egrets (Kent), two American Wigeons, two Richard's Pipits and three Serins.
