  New rarities discovered today included a Black Stork over Wykeham Forest, North Yorkshire, single Bee-eaters over Spurn, East Yorkshire and Winterton, Norfolk, and a White-billed Diver off Knock Head, Aberdeenshire.

Lingering rarities included the Greenish Warbler at Turton, Lancashire, Squacco Heron at Brading Marshes RSPB, Isle of Wight, both the Black Kite and Bonaparte's Gull near Faversham. Kent, American Golden Plover at Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex, Western Subalpine Warbler on Fair Isle, Shetland and White-rumped Sandpiper at Findhorn, Moray.
