  New discoveries today included a female Subalpine Warbler on the Great Ormes Head, Conwy, and both a Black Kite and a Bee-eater in Kent, the former near Faversham and the latter at Pegwell Bay.

Lingering rarities included  the Red-footed Falcon in Cambridgeshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Glossy Ibis in Pembrokeshire, King Eider in Aberdeenshire and Ferruginous Duck in Somerset. Also in Somerset the male Little Bittern was seen at Ham Wall RSPB again.
