  Today's new rarities included single Blue-winged Teals at Marshside RSPB, Merseyside and Kirkintilloch, Clyde, Baird's Sandpiper at Esha Ness, Shetland, White-rumped Sandpiper on Tean, Isles of Scilly and single American Golden Plovers on Sanday, Orkney and South Uist, Western Isles.

Lingering rarities included the Short-billed Dowitchers in Dorset and Isles of Scilly, Baillon's Crake in London, Black Duck in County Mayo, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Lothian, single Spotted Sandpipers in County Kerry and Western Isles, single White-rumped Sandpipers in Somerset and County Wexford, American Golden Plovers in County Wexford, County Clare, County Mayo, Orkney and Western Isles (2), Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire, at least two Citrine Wagtails on the Isles of Scilly, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, single Glossy Ibises in Cambridgeshire and Pembrokeshire and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire.
