  A Lesser Grey Shrike on Fetlar, Shetland was another quality rarity for the archipelago, with the Red-eyed Vireo remaining nearby on Unst. In Ireland, a Blue-winged Teal was on Lough Beg, County Derry, a Baird's Sandpiper was at Kilcoole, County Wicklow and the Bonaparte's Gull returned to Larne, County Antrim. An American Golden Plover was a new discovery on South Uist, Western Isles, whilst an Ortolan Bunting on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly may have been a relocating bird from nearby Tresco.

Lingering rarities included both Short-billed Dowitchers in Scilly and Dorset, Baillon's Crake in London, Spanish Sparrow in Suffolk, Citrine Wagtail and Ortolan Bunting in Scilly, Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire, Spotted Sandpiper in County Kerry, White-rumped Sandpiper and American Golden Plover in County Wexford, American Golden Plover in Orkney, Lesser Scaup and Ferruginous Duck in Somerset and Glossy Ibises in Cambridgeshire, Pembrokeshire and County Wexford.
