	Lingering mega-rarities comprised the Short-billed Dowitchers in Dorset and on Isles of Scilly and the Baillon's Crake in London. Elsewhere the Red-eyed Vireo on Shetland, Citrine Wagtail on Isles of Scilly, White-rumped Sandpiper in Cambridgeshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Co Kerry, Black Duck in Co Mayo and two American Golden Plovers on Orkney all lingered, whilst an American Golden Plover arrived in South Yorkshire. The best of the rest included two Ferruginous Ducks in Somerset, Glossy Ibis in Co Wexford, Melodious Warbler in Gwynedd, Hoopoe in Shropshire, Ring-necked Duck in South Yorkshire, seven Pectoral Sandpipers, seven Wrynecks, four Buff-breasted Sandpipers, two Spotted Crakes and two Barred Warblers.
