	The highlight of the day was the continued presence of the Roller in East Yorkshire. Elsewhere the Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Snowy Owl in Western Isles, Subalpine Warblers in Devon and Shetland, Red-footed Falcon in Co Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaff in Cornwall, Thrush Nightingale in Fife, Long-billed Dowitcher in Cleveland and King Eider in Aberdeenshire were all recorded. Black-winged Stilts were logged in Somerset (3) and Hampshire (2), whilst Glossy Ibises were in Pembrokeshire (3), Suffolk (2), Devon and West Sussex. The best of the rest included two Short-toed Larks in Devon, Serins in Somerset and East Yorkshire, Woodchat Shrike and Common Rosefinch in Norfolk, Night Heron in Hampshire, Marsh Warblers in London, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Fife, Purple Heron in Bedfordshire, Hoopoe in Dorset and two Pectoral Sandpipers in East Yorkshire.
