  Headline rarities included the Roller in East Yorkshire, Rustic Bunting in Northumberland and Baillon's Crake in Anglesey. Elsewhere the Black-headed Bunting on Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Red-footed Falcons in Co Cork and Perth & Kinross, Iberian Chiffchaff in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in Co Wexford, Thrush Nightingale in Fife and Snowy Owl in Western Isles all lingered.

New discoveries comprised a Subalpine Warbler in Shetland and a Bee-eater in Kent.

The best of the rest included Glossy Ibises in Pembrokeshire (3), Suffolk (2), West Sussex and Essex, Woodchat Shrikes in Norfolk and Co Cork, Serin in Suffolk, Pectoral Sandpiper in Devon, Bluethroat and Icterine Warbler in Fife and Icterine Warbler in East Yorkshire.
