	New discoveries included a Squacco Heron in Somerset, Black-winged Stilt in Dorset, Black Kite in Ceredigion and Red-rumped Swallows in Gwynedd and Cornwall (2). In East Yorkshire the possible Atlas Flycatcher lingered at Flamborough Head whilst elsewhere rarities comprised Black-winged Stilts in Fife, Cornwall and Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Somerset, Greater Yellowlegs and King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Blue-winged Teal in Cornwall and White-billed Diver in Moray. Glossy Ibises were still in Pembrokeshire (3), Aberdeenshire, Co Cork, Co Galway and Dorset. The best of the rest included Serin in Dorset, Short-toed Larks on Isles of Scilly (2) and Anglesey, Red-necked Phalarope in Powys, Woodchat Shrikes in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Bluethroat on Shetland, Temminck's Stints in Cheshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire, Hoopoes in Suffolk, Wiltshire and Dorset, Red-breasted Flycatcher in Norfolk, Purple Heron in Bedfordshire and Kentish Plover in Dorset.
