  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Black-winged Stilt in Oxfordshire at Standlake Common. In Highland a White-billed Diver was located at Burghead.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present comprised the Northern Waterthrush on the Isles of Scilly, Greater Yellowlegs and King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Black-winged Stilt in Dorset, Blue-winged Teals in Clyde, Cornwall and Somerset, Spotted Sandpiper and two Long-billed Dowitchers in Somerset, another White-billed Diver in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan, Richardson's Canada Goose in Argyll, Little Bunting in Devon, Ferruginous Duck in Wiltshire, and Glossy Ibises in Dorset, Essex, Lancashire, Pembrokeshire, Suffolk and the Western Isles.

Scarcities included Serin (Suffolk), Hoopoe (Norfolk), Rose-coloured Starling (Hampshire), Ring-necked Duck (Kent and Lincolnshire) and Cattle Egret (Dorset and COunty Wexford (2)).
