Elsewhere, new rarities included a White-billed Diver in Highland at Poolewe, a Ferruginous Duck in Wiltshire at Langford Lakes, and a Blue-winged Teal reported in Somerset, at Ham Wall.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Thayer's Gull in Lincolnshire, Greater Yellowlegs and King Eider in Aberdeenshire, Red-breasted Goose in Dumfries and Galloway, Spotted Sandpiper and two Long-billed Dowitchers in Somerset, Blue-winged Teal in Clyde, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Falcated Duck in County Mayo, Richardson's Canada Goose in Argyll, and Glossy Ibises in Dorset, Gwynedd, Pembrokeshire (3), Suffolk and the Western Isles.
