| New discoveries included a Red-rumped Swallow in Highland and a couple
of White-billed Divers off Lewis (Western Isles).
Lingering rarities comprised Greater Yellowlegs and White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset, Blue-winged Teal in Cornwall and two Long-billed Dowitchers in Somerset. Glossy Ibises remained in Dorset, Gwynedd, Western Isles and Pembrokeshire (3). In Ireland the Black-winged Stilt (Co Wexford) and Falcated Duck (Co Mayo) both remained on show. The best of the rest included Hoopoe and Serin in Norfolk and two Serins in Dorset. |
